Advanced Virtualization Technologies (AVTware) ontwikkelt virtualisatie software waarmee de hardware/software omgeving van oudere computer architecturen wordt nagebootst op moderne IT-platforms (X86-hardware, virtual machines en Cloud). Dankzij onze oplossing kan oudere software, die vaak complexe en kostbare installaties aanstuurt, zonder wijzigingen in een moderne IT-omgeving voortleven. Hiermee kunnen onze klanten een riskante en dure software-migratie vermijden.
Deze hardware virtualisatie oplossing oogt simpel maar is dat onder de motorkap uiteraard niet. Het uitdagende van ons werk zit in de correcte vertaling tussen de oude computeromgeving en de nieuwe, terwijl we er tegelijk voor zorgen dat er geen performanceverlies optreedt voor de gebruikerstoepassingen.
Op korte termijn zoeken wij een:
Customer Support Manager met als taak het helpen van onze klantenbij het in gebruik nemen en houden van onze producten in de klant-omgeving. Deze ondersteuning gebeurt altijd remote vanuit ons kantoor in Eindhoven of vanuit je werkplek thuis. Het is een gavarieerde functie waarin je:
- Support aanvragen van klanten en partners zelfstandig oppakt en afhandelt
- Klanten helpt bij het installeren en in gebruiknemen van onze producten
- Het AVT ontwikkelteam helpt met het uittesten en kwalificeren van onze software
- Procedures ontwikkelt om de uitrol van producten te verbeteren
Functie eisen:
- HBO-ICT (Technologie of Software Engineering)
- Kennis van het Solaris Operating System
- Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal
Daarnaast hebben wij plaats voor een
Software Ontwikkelaar C/C++ voor het uitonwikkelen en onderhouden van onze virtualisatie software.
Functie eisen:
- WO of HBO-ICT (Technologie of Software Engineering)
- Kennis van het Linux Operating System
- Gedegen Kennis van C/C++
- Affiniteit met computer hardware en computer architecturen
- Creatieve geest en de wens complexe vraagstukken zelfstandig aan te pakken
- Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal

Advanced Virtualization Technologies (AVTware) develops Virtualization Software that emulates the hardware/software environment of older computer architectures on top of modern IT platforms (X86, virtual machines and Cloud). Our solution allows older system and application software to run on these modern platforms without modification, despite several IT generations between old and new. This way the users of older computer systems that control or manage complex, expensive installations can continue their operation with minimal effort and investment.

Customer Support Manager
who will follow up on the support requests of our customers and help them installing and maintaining the virtualized systems in their environment. In this task you will also assist the development teams in testing and qualifying the new versions of the products they create.
Requirements

C++ Software Developer
As an AVTware Software Developer you will have a lot of independence in developing your solutions. You’ll work closely with colleagues of the same high caliber with whom you can spar to invent new solutions. Plenty of opportunity to expand your current knowledge.
